What is the difference between Perfume, Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, and Eau
de Cologne?
The
differences among these are the amount of essential oils in the fragrance. The
most potent type of fragrance that you can buy is the straight perfume. Next
would be Eau de Parfum, then Eau de Toilette, and finally Eau de Cologne. The
higher the percentage of essential oils the longer your fragrance will last, and
the less you need to apply.

How do I make perfume last longer on my skin?
All perfumes
evaporate in time.If
the perfume never evaporated, we'd never smell it! try applying perfume to the
oiliest parts of your body. Since everyone is different, you will have to
experiment and see what works best for you. Layering perfume with different
products in the same fragrance helps to seal in the scent. If you start with
body wash and lotion underneath your perfume, it may control and slow the
release of the fragrance.
Also, do not put your fragrance on immediately after you get out of the shower.
The heat, soap, and water strip away your skin's natural oils. Try using a body
lotion first, and give your skin time to recover its moisture balance. This will
give the perfume something to latch on to.

Why are some perfumes longer lasting on other people, but not on you?
People with
oilier skin retain fragrance longer than people with dry skin. The oil binds the
fragrance to the skin and results in a more controlled release of scent over
time. On dry-skinned people, the fragrance tends to bounce right off.
People with
dry skin usually find their fragrance holding time shorter than those with oily
skin because oily skin has more natural moisture to hold in the fragrance.
PH levels (amount of acidity in our skin) also varies slightly from person to
person. Our individual levels of PH will determine how each ingredient in a
fragrance will react.

Have these
products been used?
All products posted on our
site are brand new and never used, including the "Testers".
Are they
sealed?
Most of the products sold
in their original packaging are sealed; some are not. Tester bottles are not
sealed and they do not come in their original packaging.

What is a
Tester?
Testers are an excellent
way to purchase a perfume or cologne at a discount rate, without compromising
on the quality. Testers are made by the manufacturer to help promote their
fragrances. They usually come in a plain box and may have "Tester" somewhere
on the bottle. They are not used. Testers contain the original quantity
mentioned on the bottle.

Is there
anything at all wrong with these products and if not how can you sell them at
50% discount?
There is absolutely
nothing wrong with any of the products we sell. Here is a short quote taken
from one of the business websites which explains how this works:
" These
name-brand OTC pharmaceutical, branded personal care and beauty products that
have been exported to overseas markets are re-imported and then sold below
suggested retail prices within US. The practice, deeply disliked by US
manufacturers, has been ruled legal by the Supreme Court."

Does perfume / fragrance have
an expiration date?
Perfume
does not have a defined expiration date, but there are certain fragrances that
will age more pleasantly than others. As long as perfume is stored properly,
it has no definite expiration date. Perfumes can last years if properly cared
for.
How do I care for my perfume
or fragrance and what is the best way to preserve them?
Perfumes
should be properly stored, or else they lose their "spirit". The ideal storage
condition is room temperature out of direct sunlight where it is cool and
dark. Exposing your perfume / fragrance to direct sunlight and to prolonged
heat can affect the scent of your fragrance causing a fragrance to oxidize or
change its scent.
You
should also not keep the perfume in refrigerator. Humidity and low temperature
can cause changes in various ingredients. In addition, perfume should be kept
in its original bottle, decanting it into another bottle or spray atomizer
will not extend its life.

What is the best way to apply perfume and fragrance
to the body?
People have
used perfume, oils and unguents on their bodies for thousands of years. Since
earliest history, the perfume has always been a part of human culture.
When you
apply perfume to your body make sure that a perfume is subtle and not
overpowering because people who pass by should get a whiff of the pleasant smell
and not be overcome by the odor and you should keep in mind that other people
smell your fragrance much stronger than you as you become acclimated to the
odor.
Here are some
tips for wearing a perfume in the most effective way.
Apply perfume
directly to the pulse points where the blood vessels are closest to the skin
giving off more heat and acting like mini fragrance pumps inside the wrists,
behind the ears, at the temples, behind the knees, the back of the neck, the
cleavage area, between the toes, ankles and thighs. Make sure you do not rub
wrists together as this crushes the smell.
Spraying a
little into the air is also good if you walk straight into the perfume; this is
the best method if you need a light fragrance and not lasting for long. You may
also consider spraying over the hair and wearing in your bra a small ball of
perfume-sprayed cotton wool.

How do I choose a perfume and fragrance that is best for me?
Perfume / fragrance is all about self-image. It reflects your
interests, lifestyle and personality. It makes a woman feel prettier, cleaner or
sexier and it is really no different for men.
A very basic thing to understand about the use of perfume /
fragrance is that all scents are not suitable for all people. Choice of perfume
/ fragrance should not be based on name, value or even by perusing a list of its
contents. You need to try it on your skin and see if it works for you.
There are different categories of scents, some are floral, some are
fruity, some are woody, some are blended and so forth. You need to take time to
explore what scents are best with your body chemistry and with the desired
effect of the perfume. You should take the time to smell all types to find
scents that are pleasing to you.
If you are uncertain whether you want to purchase a certain perfume / fragrance,
try to get sample or tester version of the product wear it two or three days in
a row and ask others for honest comments. It is also a good idea to see how the
scent smells to you coming out of the bottle, if it smells too strong, chances
are it is much too strong for you.
It is also said that choosing a perfume that suits you is a matter of
pheromones; pheromones are a scent that is given off by each individual,
often functioning as an attractant of the opposite sex.
Based on this theory the stronger your pheromones are, the lighter the fragrance
you should choose and the weaker your pheromones are, the stronger it should
be.
Finally, the best way to know that you made it is when you walk into
a room where people are drawn in by the pleasant smell of your perfume and when
you find that the perfume you are
wearing helps you effectively to seduce a lover.

Why do I not
smell my fragrance after I have worn it for awhile?
The nose tires easily and any scent always present eventually
disappears from awareness. After a period of smelling a fragrance you become
used to it and may not be able to smell the scent. The scent is still there and
is very strong for others. Do not trust your own sense of smell to decide how
much is enough. It will always smell less intense to you than it does to others.
